"We are indvidual but there is no us or them. We are the whole thing. There is no "Other."
–Ram Dass

An offering in cotton. This women's longsleeve is part of the capsule made for Rainbow Body, the new record from John Pattern and Ram Dass on Soul Land Records. Ram Dass understood mantra as a way to merge the heart and mind. On this record, John expands that practice with modern beats and melody, an invitation to return to where love and awareness live.

The front carries the album artwork: two haloed figures on either side of a rainbow column with a sun at its center. It's printed on a soft ecru longsleeve in a regular women's fit with cuffed sleeves.

John Pattern is a musician and vocalist who has been creating and performing spiritually rooted music since 2022. He’s also a licensed psychotherapist in Utah. His practice takes a holistic approach to trauma, addiction and overall mental health, and he uses music as a therapeutic medium to uplift and inspire.

On Rainbow Body, John builds on Ram Dass’s lifelong practice of mantra. He sets archival chants and talks to rhythmic, melodic waves that invite listeners back to the heart, where love and awareness reside.

Soul Land Records was created as a natural repository for the new music being created in dedication to and inspired by Ram Dass, who was an avid music listener with tastes spanning across many different genres – but always oriented towards touching that innermost place, “Soul Land.” Soul Land Records was launched by Ram Dass’ Love Serve Remember Foundation with the intention that it may grow to serve the mission of spreading the teachings and unconditional love of Ram Dass through the medium of music.
